My name is Kristin Ahlgren and I am a software development engineer. I work for the Concept Development Team.

Why Microsoft Cambridge?
Working for Microsoft, you're surrounded by the most intelligent people. We work in an open environment which fosters a lot of creativity and collaboration. We have a very tightly knit team.
What is your favorite feature of the Cambridge campus?
We have this really cool tree house on the 10th and 11th floor which is surrounded by tons of greenery and there are guys in there taking care of the plants every hour on the hour. It's awesome. It's very different than my last job where I was in a little gray cube by myself.
Favorite local haunt?
My favorite place is the Black Sheep, it's 50 yards from our office. They have really good grilled cheese and chili. They also have an awesome patio that you can sit around and hang out after work.
If you could be any type of animal, what would you be? Why?
I would be a horse because they're huge, strong and very muscular. I’m a rider.
