- Why Microsoft Cambridge?
When I first got out of college I knew I wanted to do something technical but also creative, and I’ve always sort of been the person in between those two sides. An opportunity came up – I was contracting for Microsoft for a little while and the person that I was working for really wanted me to come on the team, and so the timing was perfect and I came on. - What is your favorite feature of the Cambridge campus?
I really liked the opportunity of connecting with a large group of people that were working towards something a little bit bigger. Just the way that they’ve set the environment up here, that they valued creative talent and intelligence. - What’s the greatest invention in the last fifty years?
The internet. A lot of the technology that we’re working on is the enablement of collaboration from far and wide. I work from home a couple days a week – that is partially based on our technology, and it’s not just for fun, it’s using the technology to do that. - Any guilty pleasures?
Every now and then I will tell my wife I’m going to the gym and she goes off and I stay home and play Xbox. I’ve made video games for a couple of years, and I think it’s important to know your craft. - Do you have any unique skills?
In college I was in an a capella group.
